Aibel is a leading service company within the oil, gas and offshore wind industries. We provide our customers with optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout a project’s entire life cycle.

Aibel’s 4000 skilled employees are located close to our customers at the company’s offices in Norway and South East Asia. In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund and in Thailand, with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.

Whilst the upstream oil and gas industry segment will remain Aibel’s core market for many years, we are in parallel developing solutions for the renewable energy sector, thus adapting our core competence to a low carbon future.

In recent years, Aibel has established strong references in the European offshore wind market with the delivery of the DolWin Beta converter platform and our involvement in Hywind Scotland for Equinor. This has paved the way for new large offshore wind projects like DolWin 5 and Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm, both currently under development and construction.

We are also concerned with paying attention to new technologies in regards to our services, and constantly look for improvements and optimisations in connection with the way we work.
